Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer/Systems Engineer to join its team in Roy, UT supporting the Sentinel Program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. What You Will Get To Do: Performing decomposition of Department of Defense safety manuals into requirements and allocating them to design teams for implementation Provide systems engineering expertise to the design, integration, and testing of a next generation ICBM weapon system Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, cost, risk, supportability, and analysis for mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems Evaluate the physical security design based on the Department of Defense Safety manuals Interface directly with various compartments of the Department of Defense and Department of Energy to ensure safe design and operation of nuclear weapon systems Use model based engineering tools on a major weapon system to pioneer a new way to evaluate and analyze modern design Learn a niche discipline that spans all aspects of Nuclear Power and Munitions Basic Qualifications: Associate Systems Engineer (level 1): Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or related STEM field of study. 6 months of experience with any of the following tools and languages: DOORs, Cameo, TeamCenter, GIT, JAZZ, NX, Capitol, Python, C++. Must be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need. Systems Engineer (level 2): Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering discipline or other STEM field of study or a Master's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, software engineering or related STEM discipline and 0 years of related experience. 6 months of DOORs, Cameo, TeamCenter, GIT, JAZZ, NX, Capitol, Python, C++. 6 months of experience with electrical or software analyses/test and verification of requirements. Must be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret; etc.). Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. Primary Level Salary Range: $63,900.00 - $95,900.00 Secondary Level Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $115,800.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
