JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for drawing packages using AutoCAD.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
High School diploma or equivalent 5 years of electrical & instrument design experience Proficient in AutoCAD
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working capablioty of AutoCAD Experience with PLC as well as Remote I/O hardware Familiar with - NEMA enclosure ratings, electrical raceway types and routing, electrical area classification, Grounding systems, Process Instrumentation installations, (480V, 3 phase, power and its industrial applications), single phase power and its industrial applications P&ID development Knowledge in laying out hardware in cabinets and sizing cabinets accordingly, working closely with controls engineer in hardware selections Knowledge and experience in various types and functions of cables, communications architecture design, P&ID symbology and development, drafting principals, tools, involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints and models. Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs, Material Heat/Balance, Schematics & wiring diagrams Familiar with NFPA, IEEE, & API Standards applicable to Electrical and Instrument Design
