Responsibilities
Job Description - Major Functions & Duties:
This individual is responsible for delivering technical solutions in a timely fashion meeting business requirement and following development standards. This includes: technical analysis, technical documentation, design, development, testing, debugging of the FSCM
PeopleSoft
application. Analyze functional specifications, provide technical specification, develop and deliver a new and/or retrofitted solution from PS FSCM 9.1 to 9.2. Work with functional users as needed to clarify requirements and translate processes from detailed functional requirements to technical design specifications. Design, code, and unit test complex projects. Support Functional team in test issue resolutions (code fixes and revisions) Develop integrations between
PeopleSoft
FSCM and other applications. Qualifications
Experience (must have):
The person filling this role will be primarily responsible for FSCM-related development projects and should have a minimum of 5 years' experience of PeopleSoft:
Experience working with
PeopleSoft
FSCM data and data models. PeopleTools experience, current experience with version 8.56 preferable. PeopleCode, Integration Broker, SQL, SQR, COBOL and Application Engine experience. Component Interface, Application Messaging, Query, BI, and Application Package experience. Previous PS 9.2 upgrade experience. Strong knowledge of and adherence to development standards (including documentation, testing, migration procedures) and implementing best practices. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with functional teams and end-users. Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop initiatives, as well as recommend solutions to improve efficiency. Demonstrate solid leadership qualities and take ownership of all development related issues. Ability to work independently and drive deliverables to completion Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to shifting priorities. Capacity to work well independently, as well as in a team, with the ability to collaborate with other team members and foster a team environment. Preferred (optional):
