Founded in 2010, Core is a vertically integrated company, focused on acquiring, developing, and managing across the student housing and build-to-rent (“BTR”) sectors. Position Overview
Core’s Analyst of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) plays a crucial role in compiling and collaborating with various departments aspects of forecasting, analysis, and reporting. You will be instrumental in achieving the company's overall success and growth, playing a pivotal role in fostering informed decision-making throughout the organization. By partnering with various departments and stakeholders enterprise wide, the Analyst of FP&A will also play a critical role in optimizing financial processes, systems, and creating data analytics and reporting that will drive strategic financial decisions. This role will report directly to the Manager of FP&A.
What You Will Do
Forecasting, Reporting & Analysis
Support the development team by tracking and monitoring project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets, and assisting with the communication of certain risk assessments alongside the FP&A Manager & other stakeholders. Review development-level budgets by conducting detailed trend analysis of historical performance, portfolio and external benchmarks, contracts, and new strategic initiatives to identify outliers and improvement opportunities. Create and maintain various financial models providing a clear understanding of investment performance and / or potential development opportunities. Clearly and effectively communicate development pipeline updates and forecasts from a financial standpoint to key parties Assist in the streamlining of capital call process between various internal and external stakeholders. Perform analysis and ad hoc projects collaborating closely with all departments across the organization. Assess monthly pipeline progress and identify key trends across individual properties and portfolios. Contribute to ongoing improvement of the reporting process through use of automation, databasing, and business intelligence tools. Develop presentations and detailed financial analysis results.

Ideally, You'll Have
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting 1-3 years within FP&A role, preferably within the real estate industry Financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial software and systems, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, financial planning tools, and Excel Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinker with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range
USD $70,000.00 - USD $80,000.00 /Yr.
Additional Compensation
Employees may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, typically 5-10% of base salary annually, depending on individual and organizational performance.

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, certifications, seniority, geographic location, and business needs.
This role may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, including bonuses, commissions, stipends, or non-cash incentives, depending on position and performance. Benefits may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other role-based offerings, subject to eligibility requirements.
