Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Kings Mountain, North Carolina.

Job Description & Requirements
* Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit * Discipline: RN * Duration: 13 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, nights * Employment Type: Travel
* Minimum Years of Experience required: 18 months PCU exp * Will accept a first-time traveler: Yes * Required Licensure & Certifications: RN: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS * Floating within region 3 and scope of practice
* Region 3 - Cleveland, Kings Mtn, Lincoln, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH) * If floating mid-shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)
* Weekend rotation: every other * No call * Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays * RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays - must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours * Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit * Patient Ratios: RN: 1:5-6 * Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks

* Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Stroke R/O, PNA, cellulitis, FTT, AMS, CP R/O, Afib, COPD, ect. * Skills required:
* Essential nursing functions, teamwork, communication * Experience with traches, cardiac gtt experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, blood products, wound care/dressing changes, management of central lines
* Technology/Equipment:
* EMR: EPIC * IV Pump: Alaris * Med dispensing: Omnicell * Monitors: Phillips Telemetry * Unit specific equipment: Several fall prevention tools in use, multiple patient positioning tools in use
* Scrub Color: Navy Blue * Parking: Free
18 months PCU exp REQUIRED Accepts first-time travellers! BLS, ACLS, NIHSS REQUIRED
