Job Description & Requirements
* Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 09/02/2025 * Duration: 15 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, days * Employment Type: Travel
? Position: Critical Care Float RN - ICU/IMCU ? Location: North Carolina ? Contract Length: 18-22 weeks (Must work through at least 1/3/2026, ideally through 1/31/2026) Shift: 3x12-Hour Days - 06:45-19:15 ? Schedule:
Rotating weekends (typically every 3rd weekend)
No blocked scheduling requests - Flexibility is required
May float to IMCU and Med/Surg based on patient volume
? Unit Details: Critical Care Float Pool - ICU/IMCU primary, Med/Surg as needed
Must be comfortable with occasional pediatric patients (rare but not redirected)
Must be highly flexible and comfortable floating as needed with staff rotation
Requirements: Active NC or Multistate Compact RN license - Must be current at time of submission
Certifications Required:
BLS - AHA
ACLS - AHA
NIHSS
PALS
EMR: Recent EPIC proficiency required
Skills Required:
Ventilator management
Comfort with rare pediatric patients
