Senior Interior Designer - Luxury Residential & Hospitality

Our client, a luxury interior design firm based in NYC, is seeking a talented Senior Interior Designer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for high-end interior design and proven experience delivering exceptional projects across private residential, multi-family, and hospitality sectors. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with team members, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to develop innovative design concepts for luxury residential and hospitality projects. Responsibilities include contributing to interior design schemes from concept through completion, ensuring designs meet project goals and client expectations. The role also involves producing detailed drawings, specifications, and documentation to communicate design intent and support the construction process, as well as assisting with budgets and sourcing materials, finishes, and furnishings that meet project requirements and budget constraints. They are looking for candidates with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in high-end design, strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is required, along with skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Studio Designer. A solid understanding of interior design principles and practices, including FFE, furniture systems, and specifications, is essential. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must, as is a strong portfolio showcasing creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. Hand sketching skills are a plus, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is key.
