The SystemAdministrator (SA) maintains the operation of over one hundred desktop/laptopcomputers, approx. twenty virtual servers, several physical servers, andassorted networking equipment using multiple VLANs. The SA supports hardware includingprinters, scanners, fax machines, signature pads, video teleconferencing, videosurveillance, phone system, cell phones, iPads, copiers, as well as an EHR, payrolland timesheet system, and drug prescription software. Most work will be done atthe main office, with some limited travel. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provision, install, configure, support,operate and maintain systems hardware and software related infrastructure. Configure, support, and maintain communicationtechnology including email, phone system, and cell phones, public /internal websites. Develop and maintain installation,configuration and troubleshooting procedures. Create hard drive images and reimage harddrives. Investigate and resolve problems withinformation systems and data. Provide support to staff through a help desk,staff training, and set up and tear down of equipment as requested. Maintain physical security of confidential materials and assignedAgency property. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity andavailability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and keyprocesses, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completionof scheduled jobs such as backups. Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible systemintrusions. Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systemsand system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media. Provide file recovery as needed. Perform regular file archival and purge, as necessary. Provide support for the Electronic HealthRecords (EHR) system. Maintain familiarity with and handle client information inaccordance with Federal Regulations (42 CFR, Part 2), the Revised Code ofWashington (RCW 71.05.390 and RCW 71.24), HIPAA and other applicable lawspertaining to confidentiality of client and staff information. Assist Help Desk Technicians with higher tier tickets. SECONDARYDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintain an equipment inventory. Participatein organization and region-wide committees and task groups. Participate in special projects as needed. PERFORMANCEEXPECTATIONS: Respondto help requests in a timely fashion. REQUIREDEDUCATION, LICENSE(S), CERTIFICATION, AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Bachelor'sDegree in CS, EE or a related field, or equivalent experience Experience: Fouryears' Windows system administration experience Fouryears OpenBSD, UNIX or Linux experience Additional requirements: Must be able to pass apre-employment drug testand background check Must be able to provide vaccinationrecords for MMR, Hep B, Tdap and recent flu shot KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Essential: WindowsServer / Windows OS domain with NFS ExchangeServer / Office Suite / Office 365 with SharePoint Cisco/UnifiSwitches, Routers and Access Points Virtualizationwith VMware Preferred: FreePBX Zendesk EHR/EMRExperience NATURE AND SCOPE: Physical Demands
