Description BMW of San Diego is seeking an experienced Service Director to lead our high-volume, fast-paced, luxury dealership service department. The Service Director is responsible for running an efficient and profitable service department. This manager will operate the department at maximum production, controlling costs, building a loyal clientele, maintaining good employee relationships, setting and obtaining sales and profit objectives, and maintaining service records. The ideal candidate will have a dynamic and communicative personality with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the service and parts teams. Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a Service Manager in a large retail dealership. BMW or luxury experience preferred, but not required. Pay for this position is salary plus commissions. The expected pay is $195,000 to $220,000/year. This position is primarily located in an office environment, with heating and air conditioning available. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Works evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or the equivalent and five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of service experience. Preferred Education and Experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent; and five to seven-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
