* Specialty: OR - Operating Room * Discipline: RN * Duration: 13 weeks * 40 hours per week * Shift: 8 hours, days * Employment Type: Travel

Department: Operating Room | RN - # Suites: 3 OR rooms and 1 endo room. - Average # of cases per day: 6-25 depending on specialty. - Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS - Common Cases: Endoscopes, Cataracts, Lap Choles, lap appys, C-Section, Tubal Ligation, Hysteroscopy, D7C, Endometrial Ablation, Total Joints, Shoulder and Knee scopes, Fractures, Excision, No robotics. - Experience: Must have experience in all the specialties that we offer- eyes and endoscopy are highly preferred not must have. Must have at least 1 year experience, ok with 1st time travelers. Will need to have experience in same day and PACU. Will need to have experience in Outpatient Surgery (OPD), Preop and PACU for call outs (Preop/PACU exp required. - Scrubbing required - RN's: No scrubbing required. - Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Lila Armentrout- PeriOp Supervisor. - OR techs: 4 plus 1 in training. - EMR: MedHost - Shifts & Scheduling: Monday-Friday 6:45-3:15 - Weeknight/Call Requirements: Yes-around 10-11 days of call a month including weekends. Call is 3p-7a. - Weekend/Call Requirements: Yes, every 3rd weekend Friday 3p to Mon 7a. - Holiday/Call Requirements: Yes, staff cover at least 2 holidays a year. - What is call response time: 30 min response time. - Floating Requirements: OPD (outpatient surgery), Preop and PACU for callouts. - Scrub Color/Dress Code: Grey scrubs-provided. - Unit/Department specific orientation: 2 days max to float with someone.
