Leidos is proud to offer a unique and high-impact opportunity for a
Physical Security Specialist
to support the U.S. Space Force while embedded with the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) Special Security Office at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH). This role places you at the heart of national defense, where you'll help protect some of the most sensitive assets and intelligence in the Indo-Pacific theater.
You’ll be instrumental in shaping and enforcing physical security protocols tailored to the Space Force’s evolving mission. From conducting SCIF site surveys and developing security plans to coordinating access control and reviewing classified equipment requests, your expertise will directly support the integrity of SCI operations across the region.
What You’ll Do
Deliver administrative and operational support for the PACAF SCI Physical Security Program Enforce SCIF access control procedures and coordinate escort protocols Conduct physical security audits and inspections of Space Force SCIFs Participate in Program Compliance Review (PCR) inspections across subordinate units Provide physical security training and updates to PACAF personnel Review and support the development of key SCIF documentation, including CSPs, MSPs, FFCs, and TEMPEST forms Advise PACAF SSO on equipment entry requests and threat mitigation strategies
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance on day one Proven experience in physical security operations within military environments Minimum of 8 years of overall security experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational abilities Customer-focused mindset with attention to detail Expertise in ICD 705 and DoDM 5105.21 Vol 2 Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools Experience working with DIA on SCIF authorization processes
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a security-related discipline Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) ICD 705 Site Security Manager (SSM) Certification Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Pay Range
Pay Range $80,600.00 - $145,700.00
The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
