Sr Design Professional 2 - BIM Coordinator (Healthcare) - San Francisco / San Jo

Works closely with the project manager to ensure the successful execution and delivery of projects. Assignments require independent action, decision-making, and the ability to supervise others. RESPONSIBILITIES : Independently performs assignments with guidance from project leadership regarding expected results. Maintains a collaborative professional relationship with the Project Leadership Team. Participates in reviewing project costs, budgets, and schedule adherence. Attends team meetings to resolve project issues and coordinate with other disciplines. May assist in negotiating fees and contracts. Develops a comprehensive understanding of clients' program requirements, standards, and policies. Communicates with clients regarding design requirements, specifications, progress, and final delivery. Coordinates communication with other disciplines, vendors, contractors, and consultants. Prepares 2D and 3D presentations, design drawings, and models for review. May plan, organize, and manage a project team. May lead a team, mentor, and supervise less experienced staff. Participates in professional development reviews. Sets strategies for document production and organization, including BIM or other 3D models. Assists in work planning and scheduling processes. Monitors construction administration document management. Participates in setting up project team software parameters and standards management. Incorporates sustainable design solutions into projects. Promotes a green workplace through sustainable practices. Fosters a commitment to excellent client service, both internally and externally. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE : Bachelor's degree in architecture required. 10+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience required. LEED accreditation or Green Associate preferred. Healthcare project experience preferred.
