This position requires employees to be on-site five days a week at our client’s Santa Monica, CA office. Note:
The qualified candidate for this position must have at least 2 years of civil litigation experience in California. Lemon Law experience is a huge plus. About Our Client Our client is a highly successful consumer advocacy law firm dedicated to protecting California drivers under the state’s lemon law. With a 99% success rate, they’ve litigated thousands of cases against major auto manufacturers, securing refunds, replacements, and compensation for clients. Job Description Represent clients in lemon law and civil litigation matters Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence Handle court appearances, hearings, and depositions Work closely with clients and team members to develop case strategies Manage caseload efficiently with reasonable billable hour requirements Collaborate with senior attorneys and staff in a supportive environment Qualifications J.D. and active California Bar license required Minimum 2 years of civil litigation experience (personal injury or lemon law highly transferable) Experience in hearings and/or defending depositions strongly preferred Strong legal writing, advocacy, and case management skills Not open to relocation – candidates must already be in California Why This Is a Great Opportunity Competitive pay based on experience, plus future profit-sharing potential On-site role with free parking in Santa Monica Clear, reasonable billable hour expectations (45 hours per week) Collaborative and supportive work culture with mentorship from seasoned attorneys Opportunity to build trial and deposition skills quickly JPC-369 Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Seniority level
