Position Overview Dispatcher The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily shipping and receiving activities using a warehouse management system (WMS), including processing customer orders, printing paperwork, and managing BOLs. This role requires consistent email communication with customers, driver check-ins, truck seal verification, and scanning orders to shared files, all while maintaining a high level of attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to work overtime including some weekends and holidaysand foster strong working relationships with both customers and warehouse staff. Pay Range: $18.25 - $18.25 per hour Shift: Inquire about shift availability Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Process customer orders accurately using the warehouse management system (WMS), including printing orders and creating bills of lading (BOLs). -Communicate effectively with customers via email to confirm orders, resolve issues, and provide shipment updates. -Check in incoming and outgoing drivers, verify truck seals, and ensure proper documentation is completed. -Scan completed orders into shared files for record-keeping and tracking purposes. -Maintain a high level of attention to detail while managing multiple tasks and customer accounts. -Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. -Work flexible hours, including potential overtime, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational demands. Job Requirements: -Experience working with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) or similar inventory/order processing software. -Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and documentation. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially for interacting with customers via email. -Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. -Willingness to work overtime, including some weekends and holidays, based on operational needs. -Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships with warehouse staff and drivers. -Basic computer skills, including scanning documents and navigating shared file systems.
