Amplify ETFs
Amplify ETFs is a dynamic and growing investment adviser specializing in exchange-traded funds. We are looking for a Chief Compliance Officer to lead the firms compliance program and ensure full adherence to applicable laws and regulations, including the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. The CCO will play a critical role in maintaining a strong culture of compliance, overseeing regulatory filings, managing risk, and serving as the primary liaison with regulators.
Duties & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and oversee the firms compliance program in accordance with Rule 206(4)-7 of the Investment Advisers Act and Rule 38a-1 of the Investment Company Act. Maintain and update the firms compliance policies and procedures tailored to ETF management and investment advisory activities. Oversee and manage the firms Code of Ethics, personal trading policies, and insider trading policies. Perform risk assessments and identify compliance gaps or weaknesses. Serve as the primary contact during regulatory exams, inquiries, and audits. Partner with legal counsel, fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers to ensure operational compliance. Supervise and manage compliance staff. Requirements
Bachelors degree required; JD, MBA, or other relevant advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 1015 years of relevant compliance experience in the asset management industry, preferably with a focus on ETFs. Strong knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, Investment Company Act of 1940, and other applicable SEC and NFA regulations. Experience interacting with the SEC and managing regulatory exams. Familiarity with ETF structures, operations, and disclosure requirements. Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. High degree of integrity, judgment, and professionalism.
