Job Summary:
As our
Apparel Designer II , you'll report directly to the
Women's Golf & Tennis Design Director , working with design leadership and our
Expert Designer
to actively gain experience, enhance design skills, and increase knowledge of the brand's design philosophy, products, and processes. You'll also collaborate with category team members in design, development, business, and merchandising to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price points, merchandising needs, and product creation timelines.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
in Apparel/Fashion Design or a related design field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training. Minimum
6+ years
of relevant work experience in apparel/fashion design. Passion and understanding of current and emerging design trends and visual culture. Strong research and analytical skills to identify trends across sport, youth, and culture, with the ability to translate insights into product opportunities. bility to translate insights into authentic narratives and compelling visual storytelling in presentations and communications. daptability to change and ability to manage multiple competing priorities. organization. You'll oversee prototype development, collaborating with teams in development, pattern making, materials, lab testing, and sampling to exchange ideas and ensure timely project completion. This role requires strong teamwork to meet deadlines, ensure design feasibility, achieve target price points, and clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
