Electrical Mechanical Maintenance-Week Day

We're looking for motivated Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to bring their skills to our High street facility in Hanover, PA.In this hands-on, full-time role, you'll work Sunday-Wednesday 5:55AM-5:55PM, keeping our automated conveyor lines and high-speed packaging equipment running at their best. You'll tackle troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance - making a real impact every shift.We're also offering a competitive sign-on and retention bonus as part of our commitment to bringing top talent into the Utz family.ResponsibilitiesTroubleshooting and repairing advanced conveyor belt systems and automated material handling equipmentWorking with PLC systems, motor controls, DC/AC drives, and sensor-based automationInstalling, wiring, and maintaining electrical components like relays, motors, and panelsPerforming preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep things running smoothlyReading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams with accuracyInstalling conduit, EMT, and sealtite independently to support system upgrades and expansionsRequirementsMinimum of 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance (electrical and mechanical)Experience working with automated conveyor systems or warehouse distribution technologySkilled in diagnosing issues with sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panelsCapable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 30 feetStrong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detailExperience in food manufacturing or packaging is a plusExternal Recruitment Process Easy Application (5 mins): Introduce yourself and answer a few key questions to get started.Engaging Chat Interview (20-25 mins): Share your experiences in an online chat, highlighting how your values align with ours.Live Interview: Selected candidates will meet with the hiring manager to explore their alignment with the team and overall Utz company culture.Continuously Pursuing Excellence!Here at Utz, we have a passion for exciting and delighting consumers with delicious snack foods made from high quality ingredients.
