Empowering healthcare heroes, join our mission as a Nuclear Med Tech!Now Hiring: Travel Nuclear Med Tech - Palo Alto, CADuration: 26 weeksSchedule: 10 hourDay Shift, expect weekend and holiday rotationsImportant: Applicants must reside 50 miles or more from zip code 94305Key Responsibilities:Prepares diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for administration following current radiation safety guidelines and assist in the administration of therapeutic dosesOperate Nuclear Medicine scan units to perform clinical diagnostic procedures as directedPerforms all Nuclear Medicine procedures on patients of all ages utilizing various types of imaging equipmentProcesses computerized image data to include function curves and reconstructed SPECT images and accurately transfer images to the Picture Archive Communication System (PACS)Qualifications:Minimum 2 years of experience and at least 1 Travel assignmentNMT-RHN - CA Nuclear Medicine TechAnd one of the following licenses:- ARRT-N - Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- NMTCB Certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board- ARRT-CT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed TomographyKnowledge of Nuclear Medicine & PET-CT quality control and quality assuranceBLS Certification (American Heart Association) requiredPay Breakdown:$1,080 per week (taxable)$1,988 weekly per diem (non-taxable)Pay Details: $3,068.00 per week Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
