Job Description
We're seeking a highly motivated
Junior EDI Data Integration Engineer
to support the operational functionality of our EDI/B2B systems, including Sterling Integrator. This entry-level role provides an opportunity for individuals to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of data integration and system maintenance. You'll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to learn and contribute to key operational and support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for EDI/B2B data exchange systems in line with the Master Services Agreement (MSA) Assist in onboarding and transition services for new clients, partners, and environments Help maintain and update key documentation such as: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Onboarding and Offboarding Tracker Operational, Incident, Change, and Governance Reports Weekly Status Reports and Metrics Reports Monthly Dashboards, RCA, and Outage Reports Monitor incident and service requests and escalate to senior engineers when necessary Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system incidents within SLAs Participate in software release cycles, including coordinating testing and validating changes Conduct proactive system maintenance, including patching and configuration updates Collaborate with the wider team to analyze and document system requirements and processes Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated incidents Support the tracking of incidents and contribute to reporting activities Requirements
What You Bring:
Education : Bachelor's degree (or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Experience : Basic exposure to EDI/B2B systems and integration tools (preferably IBM Sterling Integrator or similar platforms) Skills : Understanding of EDI formats (e.g., X12, EDIFACT), protocols (FTP, SFTP, HTTP), and integration systems Familiarity with ticketing systems, incident management, and change control processes Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across departments Preferred : Familiarity with cloud platforms, XSD, database management, or integration tools is a plus
