What You Will Do
As a
Staff Frontend Engineer , you’ll play a key role in designing and implementing highly interactive, user-driven features for a sophisticated financial analytics platform. You'll work directly with executive leadership, help shape the frontend architecture, and mentor junior developers while delivering tools used by top-tier investment professionals. Key Responsibilities:
Lead design and development of frontend features across the platform
Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering leads, and UX teams
Participate in occasional client calls to understand user workflows and feedback
Translate complex financial metrics and data into clean, actionable UI/UX
Guide architectural decisions and best practices for scalability and maintainability
Partner with engineering to integrate APIs, machine learning tools, and AI-powered features
Mentor junior engineers and help build a culture of technical excellence
Contribute to roadmap planning and align product strategy with engineering capacity
Ideal Background
6+ years of experience
in modern web application development
Advanced knowledge of
React ,
JavaScript , and
TypeScript
Deep experience working with
UX teams
on high-performance, data-heavy UIs
Proficient in building client-server SPAs and integrating APIs (REST, GraphQL)
Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS or Azure preferred)
Demonstrated ability to work in
entrepreneurial, small-team environments
Strong communication and product-thinking skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
Preferred
Background or interest in
financial technology
or investment-related data modeling
Familiarity with financial calculations, KPIs, or analytics used in private markets
Experience working in AI-enriched or data-visualization platforms
Prior experience taking ownership of product delivery and roadmap execution
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary:
$160,000 – $210,000
