About the Role:

UKG Ready is looking for a visionary Product Manager to lead the development and evolution of products powered by Generative AI and large language models. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our AI capabilities - from core model integrations to user-facing experiences that push the boundaries of what's possible with LLMs.
You'll work closely with researchers, engineers, designers, and customers to define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Your job is to ensure our AI-driven products are not only innovative and technically sound, but also deeply aligned with user needs and ethical considerations.

Description:

UKG Ready looking for a Product Manager with a passion for building practical, user-centered AI experiences - someone who's excited to guide the development of GenAI solutions powered by large language models (LLMs) from research to real-world impact.
This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI research. You'll help shape the roadmap for how we deliver value through capabilities like prompt orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), LLM evaluation, and scalable deployment - all while keeping users, ethics, and performance top of mind.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements, prioritize backlogs, run experiments, and track outcomes. This is a hands-on product management role where technical curiosity, strong communication, and user empathy are key.

Activities:

• Define and own the roadmap for GenAI product capabilities, collaborating closely with engineering and research teams
• Translate complex AI concepts (e.g., embeddings, prompting strategies, vector search, eval frameworks) into usable, testable product features
• Partner with stakeholders across engineering, product, UX, and other AI pillars within UKG on go-to-market plans to ensure a cohesive experience
• Identify opportunities for AI-native product features, prototypes, and improvements
• Run agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and demos
• Incorporate feedback from customer interactions, usability testing, and AI system behavior analysis
• Support internal education and evangelism around GenAI capabilities and best practices
• Contribute to evaluation criteria for LLM outputs, fine-tuning effectiveness, and retrieval performance
• Actively monitor performance, metrics, and error rates of GenAI components in production

About you,

Basic Qualifications:
• 3-7 years in product management, ideally with experience on AI/ML or technical platform products
• Deep familiarity with LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral), prompt engineering, embeddings, and GenAI workflows is essential. This position demands someone who is truly immersed in AI experiences, actively engaging with and leveraging these tools to drive innovation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially around experimentation and evaluation
• Comfort collaborating with engineers, AI researchers, and designers on deeply technical products
• Experience delivering products in agile environments
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to convey complex ideas simply

Preferred qualification:
• Experience with AI evaluation, hallucination mitigation, or RAG pipelines
