The Position
- The Director, Managed Care Contracting, will oversee hospital and professional billing analytics, including contract modeling, financial analysis, EPIC contract build, and revenue optimization, while leading a team of analysts to support contract performance and organizational goals.
- The Director will report to the Vice President of Managed Care and lead a team of four direct reports.
- This leader will oversee financial and data analysis, support contract management and modeling, assist the legal team with depositions, and provide reporting and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
- Ideal candidates will be subject matter experts in Managed Care and Payor/Provider relations, with a strong background in analytics and experience with the EPIC system. They should be proven leaders with the ability to mentor staff, demonstrate initiative and drive, and possess excellent communication skills, along with a passion for their work and a willingness to go above and beyond.
- This position is primarily remote, with occasional onsite requirements. Candidates must reside in Texas or be willing to relocate.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- EPIC certification required, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
- A minimum of seven years’ experience in financial analysis, data mining, and reporting, with expertise working in electronic health records, hospital billing systems, complex databases, and statistical analysis, along with at least five years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting, is required.
