Sr. IT Sox Compliance Manager

As a Senior Leader in Technology Compliance, you will safeguard the integrity and regulatory alignment of organizational platforms during transitions involving enterprise planning infrastructure. You’ll oversee governance mechanisms, enforce procedural standards, and lead evaluations to ensure secure and compliant operations. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days onsite a week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in Technology, Security, Audit, and Operations to identify deficiencies and implement pragmatic corrective actions.
  • Architect and sustain structured protocols for IT governance (SOX ITGC & GDPR), emphasizing financial systems integrity controls and data privacy mandates.
  • Execute focused vulnerability reviews across digital infrastructure to uncover and resolve regulatory gaps.
  • Integrate regulatory adherence into routine workflows through modification governance and cross-functional coordination.
  • Support incident mitigation efforts with attention to control breakdowns and regulatory exposures.
  • Track and respond to shifts in regulatory expectations, updating governance documentation accordingly.
  • Ensure protective mechanisms—such as entry regulation, activity tracking, and information shielding—are effectively deployed to meet compliance standards.
  • Design and facilitate educational initiatives that promote awareness and understanding of IT control frameworks.
  • Direct and manage both internal and third-party evaluations of technology compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or years of related experience
  • 7+ years of experience in SOX ITGC requirements and best practices (change management, access controls, computer operations, SDLC).
  • 5+ years of experience in IT compliance, IT audit, or a related role, with specific, hands-on experience in SOX ITGC
  • 5+ years of experience auditing Enterprise Systems for large organization - SAP Advanced Business
  • 5+ years of experience in any (or all) of the following: Application Programming (ABAP), FIORI, Business Technology Platform (BTP), ERP Central Component (ECC), S4, and Cloud Integration.
  • Previous experience migrating from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
  • Preferred Certifications: Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Security Manager (CISM), Information Security Manager (CIA)
