Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Location: Boston, MA

Keys to the Position:

3+ years of Dev Ops Experience

3+ years working with Jenkins, Jira, BitBucket, Artifactory and HashiVault

Must have experience with AWS including EC2, ECS, Loadbalances, S3, RDS, Cloudwatch and Lambda.

Experience with application and infrastructure upgrades for the DevOps toolset

Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to take ownership of the work

Working onsite in Needham 4 days a week. Boston is fine but Needham is the preference.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team to design, implement, and manage the DevOps toolset

• Operate and maintain the DevTools ecosystem, including Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube, BitBucket, Artifactory, and HashiVault

• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system reliability and scalability

• Perform regular application and infrastructure upgrades for DevOps toolset

• Collaborate with development teams to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless deployment and integration

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud technologies
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 2-3 years of experience in DevOps engineering

• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Experience in administrative activities or managing infrastructure of Jenkins, Atlassian tools, SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory

• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
  

Additional Skills:

• Experience with HashiCorp Vault (HashiVault) for secrets management is a plus

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
