Base pay range

$51.00/hr - $56.00/hr

This is a US-based position that is Remote in PST hours. It will start as a 10 month engagement and could extend up to 18 months.
Join a leading technology innovator as a Data Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping how sales teams operate and achieve their goals. You will be immersed in a dynamic environment where your analytical skills will directly impact strategic decision-making, influencing client segmentation, quota management, and overall sales performance. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise with SQL, Power BI, and Excel to drive operational efficiency and empower sales teams to excel.
As a Data Analyst, you will be an integral part of the Sales Operations team, focusing on data management and analysis crucial for effective client segmentation and quota setting. You’ll dive deep into data from various sources, uncovering trends and insights that will help accelerate business performance. Your collaboration with engineering teams will be essential as you advocate for end-user needs during feature development, ensuring the creation of tools and reports that provide critical business insights.
What You’ll Do

• Participate in the bi-annual sales operations data management and analysis for segmentation and quota setting, collaborating across a large global organization.
• Extract and analyze data from multiple repositories to identify trends and provide insights into sales motion performance and execution.
• Use feedback from stakeholders to improve scaled tooling and reporting capabilities, enabling easy access to critical business insights and driving operational efficiencies.
• Act as a technical thought partner and advocate for end-user groups during feature development with partner engineering teams.
• Enhance the reporting suite to empower partner teams to identify actions and make informed decisions.
  

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of experience with SQL.
• 5+ years of experience with Power BI.
• 5-7 years of experience with advanced Excel skills for building templates and managing global data consolidation.
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Working knowledge of best practices in data quality and data cleaning.
• Effective use of collaboration platforms like SharePoint.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities, including developing unique analysis methods.
• Versatile communication skills to inform and influence a wide range of partners and stakeholders.
• Experience with Fabric and Python.
• Quick learning ability and adaptability to different systems and data sources.
• Meticulous attention to detail and quality control in handling data, especially for quota and target calculations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment. Demonstrated understanding of machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, decision trees, etc.).
• Experience in effective requirements gathering and synthesis for rapid product development.
• Experience with sales, quota, or compensation-related operations.
  

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $51 to $56 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
