Our client is a fast-growing, innovation-driven healthcare startup at the forefront of radiopharmaceutical therapy and diagnostics. They are transforming precision medicine by integrating cutting-edge informatics, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency to improve patient outcomes.

We are seeking a Radiology Systems Contractor for a 6-month engagement to support critical imaging infrastructure projects. This role requires a hands-on radiology IT professional with deep technical expertise and the ability to deliver quickly in a fast-paced, startup-style environment .

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot RIS, voice dictation systems, image viewers, and PACS (Philips/Carestream strongly preferred).
• Design and manage radiology infrastructure, including DICOM nodes, routing rules, and network optimization .
• Apply expert-level knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards to ensure seamless system integration and data exchange.
• Script/code solutions to extract data from EMRs and automate modality worklist construction .
• Configure and fine-tune hanging protocols to optimize radiologist workflows.
• Collaborate with IT, radiology, and vendor teams to ensure system performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of DICOM and HL7 standards , including integration workflows and troubleshooting.
• Proven, hands-on experience with RIS, PACS, voice dictation, and image viewers (Philips/Carestream highly preferred).
• Strong background in radiology infrastructure design (nodes, routing, network performance).
• Proficiency in scripting/coding for EMR data extraction and automation.
• Demonstrated expertise in configuring hanging protocols for radiology workflows.
