Family Office Director of Tax

Our client is a family office affiliated with an investment management firm. They are seeking a Director of Tax to join their growing organization. The Director of Tax will report into executive leadership, and communicate closely with the Board.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: managing all tax engagements for the founder and GPs, providing strategic tax planning and overseeing compliance, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, working with third-party vendors on an ad hoc basis, and staying up to date on all tax laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. A minimum of 8 years experience within alternative investments taxation. Advanced degree preferred, CPA/EA highly preferred. Candidate should also have a track record of success in past roles, as well as strong communication and critical thinking skills.
