The Director of Leasing will play a key role in driving growth, maximizing returns, and ensuring the organization's success in a competitive market.

Position Summary
The Director of Leasing is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction, as well as operations and financial performance of the commercial leasing real estate department. The Director of Leasing will play a key role in driving growth, maximizing returns, and ensuring the organization's success in a competitive market.
General Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee 3rd party broker relationship.
- Oversee the management of all 3rd party leasing teams in each market, the company is engaged. Negotiate favorable lease terms on a deal-by-deal basis, while overseeing outside legal counsel for lease document negotiations.
- Participate in property tours and respond to inquiries from prospective tenants and brokers.
- Maintain accurate leasing records, pipeline reports, and deal tracking systems.
- Negotiate lease terms in coordination with legal, asset management, and ownership teams.
- Foster relationships with existing tenants to understand needs and encourage renewals or expansions.
- Develop and execute financial strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Drive financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
- Monitor financial performance and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.
- Develop and execute leasing strategies to optimize property portfolio performance.
- Implement robust risk management processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Foster a culture of ethical conduct and corporate responsibility.
- Support all tenant litigation issues that may arise, along with supervision of all outside counsel that may be engaged from time to time.
- Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.
- Act as a spokesperson for the company, conveying its values and strategic initiatives.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in real estate, business, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in commercial real estate leasing (7-10 years).
- Proven track record of successful leasing, negotiation, and tenant relationship management.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate law, market trends, and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management experience.
- Proficiency in relevant software and technology (Yardi and VTS).
