Gotion Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Project Finance to lead financing efforts for solar and green energy projects. The role involves structuring and securing project financing, managing investor relationships, and ensuring financial viability across multiple renewable energy projects. Responsibilities include leading financing strategy for solar and green energy projects, developing and executing financial models, structuring project finance deals including power purchase agreements, tax equity investments, and loan agreements, negotiating and securing financing from banks and investors, maintaining relationships with financial institutions, leading due diligence efforts, representing the company in financing discussions and investor meetings, conducting financial analysis to ensure profitability and risk mitigation, monitoring financial performance metrics and market trends, and working with internal teams to optimize project costs and financing mechanisms. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field (MBA or CFA preferred), 10+ years of experience in project finance or financial structuring focused on renewable energy, proven track record in closing financing deals for renewable projects, strong understanding of tax equity financing and debt structuring, proficiency in financial modeling and risk assessment, knowledge of renewable energy incentives and regulations, and excellent negotiation and leadership skills. Preferred qualifications include experience with Independent Power Producers, understanding of tax equity structures like ITC and PTC, familiarity with green bonds and ESG financing, and experience with international renewable energy projects.
