Job Description

Please Note: This position will include supporting our US Public Sector customers. It requires passing a ServiceNow background screening, USFedPASS (US Federal Personnel Authorization Screening Standards), including a credit check, criminal/misdemeanor check, and drug test. Employment is contingent upon passing the screening. Only US citizens, naturalized citizens, or US Permanent Residents with a green card will be considered.

The ServiceNow SRE team maintains and develops the reliability, scalability, and performance of the cloud infrastructure. SREs drive technical resolutions across the stack, improve platform operability, reduce incidents, and lower MTTR, combining expertise in software development, networking, and systems engineering.

What You Will Do

This is a Day shift role supporting Government Cloud infrastructure, with a 10-hour, 4-day work week (Sunday-Wednesday), from 07:00 to 17:00 PST. You will:

  • Provide 24x7 support for cloud infrastructure.
  • Drive incident resolution and platform operability improvements.
  • Use software development, networking, and systems engineering skills to enhance service reliability.

Qualifications

  • Passion for DevOps, automation, scripting.
  • Deep Linux systems knowledge.
  • Software development background.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring.
  • Cloud experience (Azure, AWS).
  • Automation coding skills (Python, JavaScript).
  • Database expertise (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL).
  • Networking skills, IP routing.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work shifts covering one weekend day.

Additional Details

Salary ranges from $126,700 to $215,400 plus benefits, equity, and incentives. We offer health plans, 401(k), ESPP, flexible time off, and family leave.
