American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position with required OB/L&D experience and night or rotating shifts.Job Details•Position is in an acute care hospital setting on the OB/L&D (Obstetrics and Labor & Delivery) unit,•Care for postpartum, stable antepartum, pediatric, newborn, GYN, and Med-Surg overflow patients,•Average daily census includes 5 mom/baby couplets, 2 pediatrics, 1 GYN, 2 labor, and 4 SCN patients,•Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:3 for mom/baby couplets, 1:5 for GYN/Med-Surg, and 1:3-4 for pediatrics,•12-hour night shifts or day/night rotating shifts with every other weekend and holiday required,•Floating to Med-Surg and Telemetry units may be required, with travelers prioritized to float first,•Uses Epic EMR as well as equipment like Acudose, Philips Vital Machines, Bladder Scanner, Medula Breast Pumps, Medfusion Pumps, and Responder 5 Call light system,•Support team includes ward clerk, CNA (Tuesday-Thursday), charge nurse, resource nurse, and LPN scrub nurse,Job Requirements•Active MN state RN license required,•Minimum 2 years of recent OB/L&D nursing experience,•Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required,•Experience working with postpartum and pediatric patient populations required,•Experience with Epic EMR or similar charting system preferred,•Must be able to work in Labor, Postpartum, Nursery, and Pediatrics,•Candidates with previous employment at Sanford Health must have a separation date at least 6 months prior to consideration,Additional Information•Primary responsibilities include providing care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, newborns, GYN patients, pediatric patients, and assisting with Med-Surg overflow as needed,•Equipment and unit orientation provided on the first day,•Facility is Level 3 trauma designated,•Travelers must badge in and out per facility policy,•Navy blue scrubs are required,•Holiday coverage is required as part of the schedule,•Candidates residing within 80 miles will be considered as locals and subject to a different pay scale,),•hash,:•9590848519374368626,
