The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure effective care for complex and diverse surgical needs, including pediatrics and critical care patients. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care in various surgical settings. - Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate procedures such as general surgery, ENT (adults), orthopedic surgeries (total knees, hips, shoulders), plastic surgeries (including flap procedures), abdominal and bowel resections, Whipple procedures, D&Cs, hysterectomies, gastric sleeves, podiatry, neurological (craniotomies and other neuro cases), back surgeries, and urology (cysto and stent placements). - Effectively manage and prioritize nursing care for an average of 30-50 daily cases, adapting to different patient populations and their unique needs. - Uphold safety and quality standards throughout the perioperative process while ensuring patient comfort and well-being. **Qualifications:** - Active nursing license (state and Nursys) required. - Previous experience in an operating room setting is highly preferred. - Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work well under pressure. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. - Current certifications and required health screenings as part of the onboarding process. **Onboarding Requirements:** As part of the onboarding process, candidates will be required to complete the following: - Core competencies assessment - Bassett Unit Exam - Skills checklist - Personal health documentation including immunizations - Professional background checks and education verification At (Company Name), we take care of our nurses!
