Automation Engineering Support Tech (Part-Time)

Position Overview

The Automation Engineering Support Tech will assist the automation team in providing technical support, executing projects, and maintaining automation systems at FUJIFILM Biotechnologies. This part-time role exists to enhance operational efficiency and support organizational objectives.

Job Description

n

Essential Functions:

n

· Assist in basic support and troubleshooting of automation systems.

n

· Participate in maintaining functional specifications and standard operating procedures.

n

· Aid in carrying out system software updates and upgrades.

n

· Collaborate with team members to support data integrity programs.

n

· Performs other duties as assigned.

n

Required Skills & Abilities:

n

· No prior professional experience required; exposure to automation protocols and systems during coursework is preferred.

n

· Basic understanding of automation and engineering concepts.

n

· Strong communication skills.

n

· Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

n

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

n

· Experience prolonged sitting and standing.

n

· Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.

n

· Support company manufacturing activities as needed.

n

Minimum Qualifications:

n

· High School Diploma

n

Preferred Qualifications:

n

· Course of study preferred at bachelor’s level in electrical, mechanical, chemical Engineering or equivalent.

n

· Interest in biotechnology or pharmaceutical systems.

n

· Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

n

· Previous internship experience in a biotechnology company or related is a plus.
