LCSW/MSW needed for a 13-week contract covering both
medical social work
and
psychiatric social work . The clinician will float as needed to different departments. This is an acute care hospital position requiring strong discharge planning, care coordination, and patient/family support. EPIC experience is mandatory. Key Responsibilities: Provide social work services across medical and psychiatric units as assigned Conduct psychosocial assessments, crisis intervention, and counseling Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for patient care planning Assist with discharge planning, placement, and community resource coordination Provide support for patients and families facing complex medical and psychosocial issues Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality Work rotating weekends as part of the standard schedule
