Technical Project Manager

Job Description Were looking for highly experienced technical project managers in San Diego or San Jose/Sunnyvale. The PM plans and oversees sprints, balancing long-term product goals with short-term velocity. Experience with managing large, complex projects is required. Experience with hardware projects/products is highly desired. The PM will be required to come into the office and travel occasionally to other locations. The PM is comfortable working under pressure and closely with both highly technical and non-technical teams. Responsibilities Establish and maintain processes for measuring and managing scope during the project lifecycle Set quality and performance standards Report outcomes and risks to the appropriate management channels Assign and monitor resources to ensure project velocity and efficiency Essential Skills 5+ years of project management experience, ideally overseeing projects with at least 10 team members 2+ years of demonstrated success delivering on schedule and within scope Strong attention to detail Experience coordinating complex product development across teams Experience communicating closely with engineers, executives, and other stakeholders Excellent presentation skills Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience managing projects in C++ Experience managing projects in Python Experience in coaching team members to strengthen their abilities and skill sets Government clearance is preferred About Bolt Bolt Graphics is a semiconductor startup based in Sunnyvale, CA building the fastest and most efficient graphics processors.
