What's This Job All About?
The Associate Participant Services Administrator is responsible for providing account support to retirement plans administered by Greenleaf Trust. Account support is provided by responding to calls, texts, emails and live chats. Additionally, there is an opportunity to support division initiatives towards continuous improvement. This role offers an opportunity to develop knowledge and skills needed to grow in the retirement plan industry. The role is primarily performed on-site in the Kalamazoo office.
What You'll Be Doing
Obtaining a basic understanding and knowledge of:
Retirement plan types and fundamentals of plan design
Basic retirement plan rules and regulations
Providing excellent quality of client service
Relius software system and retirement plan website
Be a front-line resource for participant services:
Respond to the majority of daily help center inquiries
Protect personal participant information and use due diligence to identify any fraudulent account attempts
Educate participants on their plan rules and design along with general retirement plan concepts
Accurately perform participant requests such as investment trades, distributions and loans
Manage returned participant mail and make proactive attempts to obtain correct addresses
Assist with outgoing mail
Assist with creating, customizing and editing participant materials as needed
Research and monitor retirement industry trend
What You Need for this Position:
Bachelor's Degree and/or one or more years of experience in financial services preferred.
Minimum of one year of customer service experience in any industry required.
