Enterprise Platforms Technology (EPTech)
team is critical in shaping technology solutions and driving excellence throughout the organization. Join us in delivering capabilities that reflect industry-leading practices. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate within Agile teams
to design, develop, test, implement, and support innovative technical solutions across various full-stack development tools.
Engage with experienced developers
who specialize in machine learning, distributed microservices, and comprehensive systems development.
Work with programming languages
such as Scala, Python, and Java, along with RDBMS and NoSQL databases, while utilizing cloud-based data warehousing solutions like Redshift and Snowflake.
Stay current with technology trends
and engage in experimentation with new technologies. Be active in technology communities, and mentor engineering peers.
Partner with product managers
to deliver robust, cloud-based solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive financial empowerment.
Conduct unit testing
and collaborate with team members to ensure your code is designed for quality, performance, and efficiency.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 3 years of application development experience
(Internships do not count).
At least 1 year of experience with big data technologies.
Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years in application development
including Python, SQL, Scala, or Java.
2+ years of experience with a public cloud
(AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud).
3+ years with distributed data/computing tools
(MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL).
2+ years on real-time data and streaming applications.
2+ years of NoSQL experience
(Amazon DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
2+ years of data warehousing experience
(Redshift or Snowflake).
3+ years of UNIX/Linux experience , including basic commands and shell scripting.
2+ years with Agile engineering practices.

The salary range for this role varies by location, with Richmond, VA, offering between $144,200 - $164,600 and McLean, VA, offering $158,600 - $181,000 for a Senior Data Engineer.
