IT Project Coordinator

Mon-Fri (7am or 8am start time) 40 hours per week The Opportunity A nationally recognized healthcare services organization is accelerating several mission-critical technology initiatives and needs an IT Project Coordinator to keep workstreams running smoothly. In this visible role, you will partner with senior IT leaders, launch high-impact projects, and help drive innovation that improves patient and caregiver experiences across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities Own day-to-day coordination for multiple medium-sized IT projects, tracking scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables. Schedule, lead, and document meetings, capturing actionable minutes and publishing clear agendas and status updates. Maintain consolidated project dashboards in Microsoft Project (or similar) and the Microsoft 365 suite, surfacing roadblocks early and recommending course corrections. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, from engineers to executives, to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress. Support change-management activities, ensuring new systems and processes land smoothly with end users. Champion project governance best practices, continuously refining templates, workflows, and reporting standards to boost team efficiency. Assist in closing up to five large projects by year-end, ensuring each meets defined success metrics for scope, schedule, budget, and quality. Qualifications 2+ years of experience coordinating or managing IT or business technology projects. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project (or other project scheduling tools) plus strong skills in Excel, Word, and Teams. Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and hit aggressive deadlines in a dynamic setting. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, comfortable speaking with senior stakeholders and occasionally facilitating meetings. Solid understanding of the full project life cycle and common methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid). Detail-oriented mindset with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities.
