Job Title: Human Resources AssistantJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Human Resources Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to our HR department, ensuring smooth operations and efficient communication. Your responsibilities will include handling telephone calls, emails, and faxes, as well as assisting with the organization and planning of meetings. You will be responsible for setting up interviews as requested by the HR Manager, maintaining E-Verify documentation within the first three days of hire, and preparing New Hire Orientation packets. Additionally, you will manage the call-in list by checking phone messages throughout the day and maintain the application area to ensure it is stocked.

Responsibilities

Answer telephone calls, emails, and faxes.

Assist with maintaining E-Verify documentation within the first three days of hire.

Organize and plan meetings.

Set up interviews as requested by the HR Manager.

Assist with setting up hourly/salaried new hires in Netchex.

Prepare New Hire Orientation packets.

Check phone messages in the morning and throughout the day for call-ins and maintain the call-in list.

Maintain the application area and ensure it is stocked.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with Payroll and Paycom is a plus.

Minimum of a high school diploma.

2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment.

Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Reliable and flexible.

Able to work with little supervision.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work onsite in a cubicle within a fast-paced environment. The position requires a detail-oriented multitasker with excellent administrative skills. The role involves using various HR systems and handling customer service tasks, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Somerville, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
