Competitive salary: $70,000-$80,000 base + bonus (based on experience) 401k + company match Health and Dental Benefits Paid Time Off A Day in the Life of the Interior Designer - Project Manager This role is the central hub of communication, direction, and execution for high-end residential FF&E projects. You'll lead the project team and coordinate with designers and clients, all while ensuring that timelines and quality standards are met. Your work directly supports the seamless delivery of luxury interiors that exceed client expectations. Responsibilities include: Serve as the main liaison for clients throughout all project phases Present project processes, proposals, and budgets to prospective clients Oversee contract creation, draw schedules, and agreement management Lead and organize project teams with clearly defined scopes and timelines Collaborate on FF&E and fixed finish options, floor plans, and project installations Enter specifications and pricing into internal systems; communicate with purchasing staff Ensure SOPs and document control procedures are followed Manage vendor submittals (e.g., shop drawings, strike-offs) and monitor fabrication Communicate regular status updates and resolve timeline-impacting issues Approve client invoices and assist with AR tracking alongside Finance Travel as needed for installations and site coordination Ensure proper financial project closure documentation is completed Requirements and Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (required) 2-3+ years of experience in residential interior design and project management Deep understanding of the home furnishings and FF&E industry Strong vendor and industry connections a plus Proficient in MS Office, Adobe, AutoCAD Basic accounting and budgeting skills Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment Self-motivated, team-oriented, and solution-focused Willingness to travel for installs and conferences About the Hiring Company: Our client is a premier FF&E and luxury design procurement firm based in Dallas, TX.
