Purpose Develop and implement curriculum that reinforces lessons learned during the school day and exposes members to a broad range of interesting, developmentally appropriate areas such as the arts, education, technology, sports, life skills, and leadership. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate activities. Assist members with homework. Manage supervision and discipline of members participating in program sessions. Participate in collaborative programs and events as appropriate. Secure and maintain materials, equipment, and other resources for the program area(s). Maintain cleanliness of the program area(s). Participate in individual and group supervision sessions. Perform other related duties as specified by the Club Director. General BGCB Expectations Model healthy behaviors and promote an active, healthy lifestyle among youth/teens. Create inclusive, child-friendly environments where youth of all abilities can succeed and participate. Participate in annual professional development to enhance skills in youth development. Ensure a safe environment free of sexual, physical, or emotional abuse. Qualifications High School diploma required; some college preferred. Experience in providing youth programs or activities; curriculum development experience is a plus. Knowledge of youth development principles. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work with youth and families from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work independently and in a team. Valid driver’s license preferred. Job Type:
