Motion Recruitment This fast-growing MSP is looking for an Associate vCIO to join their technical team. This person will be the liaison between the technical consultants and the CIOs of client companies. They need someone who can leverage their technical background to provide strategic guidance to clients. Folks with backgrounds in Windows configurations general systems engineering or administration would be the best fit. This is a great opportunity to work with a great culture and make a strong impact! This is a full-time role that is flexible hybrid in Charlotte NC, Albany NY, or Bluffton SC, so only local candidates in these areas will be considered.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background with both Windows and Linux. Consulting experience is non-negotiable. Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting those environments should be represented, and knowledge of LAN/WAN, Active Directory, Office365, and SQL server is required. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus but not required.
Required Skills & Experience
4+ years of experience in IT infrastructure configuration and management Systems administration, systems engineering, or network engineering Windows and Linux experience Consulting background VMware Generalist IT knowledge LAN/WAN, Office365, firewalls
Desired Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience
