Job Overview Were looking for an Ecosystem Development Engineer to drive the growth and robustness of the StarRocks/CelerData ecosystem. In this role, you will build tools and integrations that enhance interoperability with the broader data stack, enabling seamless BI, analytics, and cross-cloud data operations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain StarRocks/CelerData ecosystem tools, ensuring seamless integration and efficient collaboration with core database systems. Architect data integration solutions and propose kernel-level optimizations based on ecosystem requirements, driving product enhancements and version upgrades. Analyze complex business scenarios to build high-utility features/components that simplify BI system integration, improving StarRocks/CelerData usability, stability, and intelligent operations. Develop industry-leading database ecosystem capabilities to address cross-cloud (private/public/hybrid) data integration challenges, delivering cutting-edge solutions. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related fields. Proficiency in MySQL syntax and hands-on experience with SQL tools (e.g., MySQL Workbench, DataGrip, DBeaver, Navicat). Strong coding skills in Python, Java, or similar languages. Hands-on experience with ETL frameworks such as Flink, Spark, dbt. Expertise in dbt and Jinja2 templating is a strong plus. Practical knowledge of at least one BI platform: Power BI, Tableau, Apache Superset, Metabase, Redash. Experience with MySQL protocol packet analysis or JDBC/ODBC drivers or StarRocks experience is highly preferred.
