As we expand our manufacturing capabilities and introduce new production lines, we’re not just scaling, we’re building for long-term greatness, including the buildout of a second manufacturing facility on the East Coast. To support this evolution, we’re looking for a seasoned, people-first maintenance and technical operations leader to shape the future of our plant infrastructure and systems, and the people who power them.

This is a senior, high-impact role for a leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution. You’re not just managing equipment, you’re scaling the systems, developing the people, and driving the kind of innovation and resilience that keeps our syrups and sauces flowing at world-class standards. You’ve built and led large, capable teams, and you know how to elevate leaders while ensuring excellence at every level. With a system-wide lens and a collaborative spirit, you’ve earned the trust of cross-functional partners by seeing the big picture, solving the right problems, and keeping the customer in focus.

At Torani, we flavor more than just drinks, we flavor lives. As a proud Certified B Corporation, we’re committed to using business as a force for good. You’ll be part of a team that leads with heart, lifts each other up, and works together to build something bigger. We’re growing fast, and we want people who grow with us, people who lead with purpose, learn with curiosity, and love what they do.

Success Factors (First 12–24 Months)

You’ve created opportunities for your leaders to grow their capabilities, stretch into new challenges, and contribute to bigger-picture thinking. You’ve taught your leaders how to assess staffing and skill needs, ensuring optimal coverage that supports production goals and minimizes gaps. You’ve led the Manager of Technical Excellence in designing and rolling out robust technical training programs, driving accountability, ownership, and innovation at every level. You’ve fostered a culture where leadership means coaching others, developing internal talent, and helping every team member see a path forward. Strategic Planning & System Design: You’ve played an integral role in developing our 5-year manufacturing strategy and translated it into a clear, actionable technical operations plan. You’ve set the vision for all maintenance and infrastructure systems to ensure reliability, safety, and long-term performance. You’ve led key workstreams focused on future site planning, capacity modeling, and systems optimization. You’ve collaborated with production, engineering, supply chain, and quality to build alignment across departments and ensure operational investments are rooted in business need. From leading complex root cause investigations to building meaningful KPIs, you’ve designed scalable programs, like preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance that drive results and resilience. You’ve contributed critical operational insights to the design of our East Coast facility and helped shape a manufacturing model built for scale. Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement: You’ve driven a culture of operational excellence, grounded in Lean principles and elevated by your commitment to continuous learning and improvement. You’ve identified opportunities to increase equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and improve technician effectiveness by leveraging data, engaging cross-functional partners, and eliminating root causes. Under your leadership, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and reliability-centered practices moved from theory to action, fueling a shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive performance. You’ve helped make continuous improvement a core mindset across the technical operations team, evolving how we work every day. Operational Support & Service Orientation: You’ve raised the bar on what great support looks like. Your team is known for their responsiveness, service orientation, and commitment to solving the right problems quickly. You empowered technicians to serve as both skilled problem-solvers and proactive mentors, elevating capability across shifts and collaborating with operators, supervisors, and managers to sustain high line performance. You built communication systems that ensured transparency, shared accountability, and cross-functional alignment. Your business partners regularly turned to you as a trusted advisor, knowing you’d bring insight, clarity, and forward-thinking solutions. Asset Sustainability & Lifecycle Management: You’ve developed and executed a robust preventive and predictive maintenance strategy that maximized asset uptime and life span. You designed multi-year rebuild and refurbishment plans, integrated long-term spare parts planning, and ensured that asset performance was never compromised by poor preparation. You’ve built and managed a capital and operating budget that supported innovation without sacrificing discipline. You’ve optimized labor planning to align technician availability with asset priorities, ensuring the right resources were in place to support production demands and long-term care. You helped your leaders grow their financial fluency, balancing performance targets with smart resource decisions. Through it all, you embedded a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and long-range thinking. Safety, Quality, and Responsibility: You’ve embedded safety as a shared value, not a compliance checklist. In partnership with the EHS manager, you built programs that promoted safe behaviors, eliminated risk, and ensured that safety was a visible, active priority in every maintenance action. You leveraged Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and cross-functional forums to create accountability and empowered technicians to speak up and take action. Your approach to safety reflected a deep respect for people and a belief that high-performing systems must also be safe and sustainable. And Yes - You Made It Fun: You brought energy, optimism, and a sense of shared purpose to the team. You celebrated progress, lifted others up, and reminded people why this work matters.
