BPS Bioscience Inc. is a leading provider of recombinant proteins, assay kits, lentiviruses, and recombinant cell lines for drug discovery. We are currently seeking a diligent and highly motivated scientist to join our cell biology group to assist in production and new product development. Responsibilities: Perform routine tissue culture of mammalian cell lines including human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells and establishment of stable cell lines. Perform molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, and plasmid preparation. Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures and results Ensures lab cleanliness and safety by maintaining equipment and keeping all samples properly labeled and stored. Maintains supply stocks for the common lab area including reagents, DNA, equipment, and consumables; communicate with sales representatives for appropriate pricing. Handles documentation needed for project validation and research quality control; keep an updated database record with project details and information. Performs literature review and summarizes the relevant information for the preparation of product datasheets. Assists other researchers with various tasks, including aid in experiments, data entry,sample storage, and organization. Other duties may include transfections, lentivirus production, performing cell-based assays in 96 well plates, assisting with order fulfillment, and other duties as assigned. Requirements: A Bachelor's with 0-1 years. Detail oriented, well organized, possess excellent lab skills and maintain meticulous records. Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong teamwork, written and oral communication skills are essential.
