Responsibilities
Develop power & computational efficient machine vision perception systems. Camera system level HW and SW development. Design experiments and test platforms for visual performance evaluation. Optimize machine vision algorithm/framework for edge devices with efficient HW/SW architecture. Define specs for next generation VR/MR/AR cameras and see-through experiences.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience. Good understanding imaging, cameras, image sensors, machine vision, etc. Experience in research experience in the fields of ML algorithm or AI accelerator design Ability to work proactively in a collaborative, highly multidisciplinary and fast paced environment. Excellent communication skills; highly self-motivated, solid teamwork skills in a highly multi-functional team environment. Strong programming skills in Python, Matlab, and C++.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in computer vision, 3D computer vision and reconstruction algorithms. Experience in image processing pipelines development using python, c++, etc. Experiences in App development, and 3D software such as Unity、Blender。 Experience in delivering consumer products from early concept scope to engineering development, and finally high volume production is a plus.

【For Pay Transparency】Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118657 - $259200 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
