A Global Payroll Director to lead the global payroll function across the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. We are looking for candidates located in Orange County, CA

Job Description
Lead, coach, and develop a global payroll team across the U.S., Canada, and Australia to achieve high performance and professional growth. Oversee all payroll operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of wages, equity compensation, and international tax and labor requirements (including SOX controls and data privacy). Manage vendor relationships and payroll systems (Workday, ADP, Fidelity, Certent), including administration, integrations, and optimization. Partner with Finance, HR, and Legal to align payroll with broader organizational processes, equity cycles, and compliance needs. Lead payroll-related aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and international expansions, including system and process integrations. Develop global payroll policies, procedures, and training to drive consistency, efficiency, and organizational understanding. Stay current on international payroll regulations, tax laws, and best practices, implementing updates as needed. Contribute to HRIS initiatives and future payroll system evaluations, acting as a strategic partner on process improvements.
Qualifications
10+ years of global payroll experience Experienced with mid- to large-sized (2500+ employees) organizations Bachelor's degree Supervisory/management experience Working with payroll and equity administration systems (e.g. Workday, ADP, Fidelity)
