Human Resources Director

Relate Search has partnered with a growing industrial business in its search for a strategic and hands-on Director of Human Resources to help build the people strategy and infrastructure needed for continued growth. Reporting to the President and sitting on the executive team, this individual will play a vital role in aligning HR processes, organizational design, and leadership development with the broader business strategy. You’ll help scale the business, drive consistency across multiple sites, and shape a culture centered on performance, safety, and inclusivity. Responsibilities: Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement a talent strategy that aligns with business objectives and enables future scale Build and optimize organizational design and workforce planning processes to support an evolving operating model Lead performance management, onboarding, and career development initiatives that enhance employee retention and engagement Establish and maintain consistent policies and processes across all locations, including employee handbook updates Champion safety and culture by leading internal communication and engagement strategies that reinforce values and accountability Qualifications: 7+ years of progressive HR generalist experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution workforces preferred Strong communication, leadership, and consultative skills with the ability to work cross-functionally High-impact leadership role with direct access to executive decision-making Values-driven organization focused on growth, operational excellence, and people-first leadership On-site role with multi-location oversight and travel expectations About Relate Search Relate Search is a Woman, Minority, and LGBTQIA+ owned executive and professional search firm dedicated to connecting top talent with meaningful opportunity.
