Under a five-year contract, the MARCENT Training and Exercise Analyst will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The scope includes professional services for MARCENT located at MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, serving as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). The analyst will support the Operations Directorate (G-3) within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside (OCONUS). The G-3 advises the COMUSMARCENT on operations, organizes, directs, and controls USMC operations in the USCENTCOM AOR, validates force requirements, and coordinates Global Force Management (GFM). The G-3 oversees training, readiness, personnel recovery, and force protection, and synchronizes actions for current and future operations. Prepare evaluations, presentations, briefs, and AMHS messages supporting exercise planning and training continuum Identify, refine, and promulgate training requirements for USMC forces and personnel in the CENTCOM AOR Support and update the Mission Essential Tasks List (METL) in collaboration with force headquarters Review new training requirements, doctrine, policies, and procedures; maintain current information on SharePoint, including After Action and Lessons Learned Reports Assist in planning and coordinating training and assessment tasks as directed by the G-3 Maintain exercise-related web pages, historical files, and documentation Maintain MARCENT Joint Training Information Management Systems (JTIMS) data Clearance required: Secret Qualifications
Current US Passport and ability to travel overseas Meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements SECRET Security Clearance Expertise in Systems Approach to Training (SAT), USMC force generation, METL, training organizations, and joint training resources Operational knowledge of MARCENT JTIMS and exercise planning Strong communication, analytical, and writing skills Retired or former Marine Corps officer/SNCO or DoD civilian with planning or G-3/5 experience Familiarity with USCENTCOM planning processes Minimum of ten years' military experience Why work for QSL?
