Position Title and Scope:
The CFO is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the corporation in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory organizations. The CFO also ensures compliance with financial management practices appropriate within the software industry and for newly public companies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
Participate in the development of the corporation's strategic plans and programs.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, new programs, strategies, and regulatory actions.
Provide timely and accurate financial analysis to support senior management decisions.
Develop and enforce policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
Provide technical financial advice within the organization.
Support and oversee financial operations in international markets.
Improve budgeting processes through staff education on financial issues.
Provide strategic financial input on decisions such as mergers, acquisitions, and investments.
Manage banking and deposit relationships to optimize cash flow.
Develop reliable cash flow projections and minimum cash thresholds.
Advise on financial aspects of contracts.
Evaluate and improve the finance division's structure and team development.

Education/Experience:
Master’s degree or equivalent; 10-15 years of related experience or a combination of education and experience.
Excellent analytical and forecasting skills.
Experience with manufacturing processes and pricing.
Experience in international financial markets.
Supervisory experience required.
CPA highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook; Oracle experience a plus.
Work Environment:
Office setting with potential for long hours, physical activity, and environmental conditions such as temperature variations and wet surfaces.
